Group 2 (Heavy Goods & Passenger Carrying Vehicles). These types of vehicles if involved in a crash can present a severe threat to passengers, other road users including pedestrians and cyclists. Such collisions present potential threats in terms of weight and height, spillage of chemicals, fire and other significant property damage.
Power Driver Risk Management Services are one of only a few driving assessment companies in Ireland to provide Group 2 assessments. The on-road assessment follows the guidelines of the Road Safety Authority’s (RSA) 2015 Traffic Medicine Competency Framework. We are also qualified to FETAC Level 6 in Driving Instruction for Heavy Goods and Passenger Carrying Vehicle. We are also certified in Load Restraint and in International Road Haulage.
